faces
The objects of our collections are things that are somehow related to our interests and life activities. Sometimes collecting becomes a family affair and things are handed down from generation to generation which embody memory.

But what about when the object of a collection becomes not a household item, but a person themself? How can we remember him humorously or with sadness, young or mature, alone or with someone, in the present moment? After all, in a second he will be different and no matter how hard we try, we may struggle to recall the past: memory will begin to fail us, relying on our new perception and attitude towards the past, substituting new scenery, twisting words and cutting out details.

With the advent of photography, it seems to have become easier to capture moments and preserve them. Surprisingly, despite the clear picture, experiences, be they happy or otherwise, resurface that have nothing to do with what is depicted in the photograph. Can a photograph convey our inner state? Can the face in the photograph tell us more about ourselves than just a certain set of data identical to other people of the same time? Does personality remain despite the documentary nature of the photograph?
